Summer Camp

So the past week I have been at Boy Scout camp at Ingersoll.  Basically what we did was go to camp for a week so we could get merit badges that you need for rank advacement and to become an eagle scout. The merit badges I took were Lifesaving first and second period. Third period I had free, then lunch, fourth period I Oceanography, and fifth period I had Citizenship in the World. Then they had an open period for everybody and then finally lunch. I got all my merit badges at camp plus I went swimming and I climbed the forty foot tower on every side(easy, hard, the giants ladder and repeled).Lastly two of my best friends in scouts made it into the Order of the Arrow(O.A.) which is an honor society for boy scouts  so im happy for them. Dad and Tyler came out on Sunday stayed the night left and came back on Friday. That is pretty much how my week has gone.

I love working at subway it is so much fun. The people are so nice and they are very helpful. I have only been late once I was late because I thought that I had that day off and I got the days mixed up and I looked at the wrong paper. My family has loved me working there because they love the food that I bring them. I m saving up for Florida with my mom and Katie and I have to pay for my food a room in a hotel and if I want to bring anything home to any of the other kids then I have to use my money for that too. But so far I am doing really good and I only used  $ 33.14 and that was to buy my family subway for dinner when they didn't know what to have for dinner so I bought them Subway. I thought that I have done really  good on not spend my money on the things that I want and saving it to go to Florida. Anyway I LOVE working at Subway and everyone there is very nice. My aunt Dawnya is giving me a lot of hours and that is a very good thing. She even said that I might get to open one day and that is a very big step saying that I have only worked 2 and a half months there I have already worked the 7 o'clock shift the 8 o'clock shift and I have also helped close so I know how to do a lot of thing there. The thing that I am afraid about opening i s that I will mess up someones order 'cause I don't know the breakfast menu very good I mean I have only worked 10:30 to 7 and we take the egg off at 11 so I haven't made that many breakfast sandwiches. I am also not that good at ringing them in, but the way that I think about it is the more I practice the better I am. So lets practice. My family has helped me get to work. Mostly my mom. She drives me back and forth A LOT. But the bad thing about them driving me is that I have to pay them 11 a day that they drive me. I think that it is a little over the top but then again it does pay for the gas and I guess that I do owe them that much. So any way I have to go and I will write again soon b ut I have to go I have other stuff I should be doin'. BYE 

All about Band Camp!!!!

tomorrow I leave for the dreaded band camp just kidding! I like band camp. We leave to go to band campo so that we can learn the drill for our show, which is the spots where we move around on the field while we do our spinning. I'm in the colorguard so its especially hard for us because we have to spin our flag and not hit the band but still be reminded of our faces because we are the visual of the whole performance and frankly we carry the band and even though we do the band does not like us, for reasons unknown. But this year we are excited because our band is playing at the NFL game of the rams versus the packers its very exciting!!!!! This is the biggest thing thats happened since we made it to the semi-finals of being nominated for a grammy. Band is a big part of my life and I'm glad it is!

All about Kali by Tiffany Pray



     Okay so Kali and me don't get along all the time but we still love each other. We are trying to get along better and so far we are doing very well. Me and her are be more friendly toward each other. We are laughing more and we are getting better at not yelling at each other.

    

     While Kali can have her bad days there are days that she is a very loving person. She is the most helpful person that I know and I think that she has helped me with my homework more than 10 time just in the first quarter of high school.

 

     We went to CHWC (Catholic Heart Workcamp) together and we had a little fight but we got over it and we had fun the rest of the time. We talked a lot and her friends, her, and me talked a lot. She told me that her friends think that I am very funny and nice. I think that some of my friends would like Kali if they met her. I think that Kali has a very good taste in people and when she doesn't like someone she will tell them. She is not afraid to tell someone that she doesn't like them. And that is one thing that I like about her, 'cause if I don't like someone I won't tell them I would just become their friend rather than tell them that I don't like them. But I guess that it works out either way. But Kali is more out there and I am NOT. I would rather be more like her then be me. I don't think that I am a very likable person, and I know Kali is. She has a lot more friends than I do and I look up to her. There are times when I think that she is really mean and doesn't like me but I know she does. We have are days and I think that we make a good team!!:)

Jessica is nice and pretty and special.  She is helpful to me.  Jessica likes singsations and spending time with me and her friends.  She kinda likes One Direction.  She loves Big Time Rush.  She got her haircut.  Today she had crazy hair because she has a play performance tonight.  Mom and Dad are coming to watch her.  I'm going to see her tomorrow.  If I have a seizure she will get mom for me.  I love her because she is my sister and protects me and loves me.

Kyla sometimes sticks her tounge at me but she gives me hugs all the time.  She plays with me and watches movies with me.  Sometimes she lets me watch her tv and jump on her bed.  Sometimes she lets me do laundry with her and hold the rats with her and Kali.  Sometimes she lets me listen to her ipod.  Sometimes she lets me play with her and pet her dog.  Sometimes she lets me do things for her so she doesn't have to do them.  Sometimes she can't see.  We should go to Chucky Cheese's and we should do stuff like this and I she should let me do face and eye painting on her.  Kyla likes crayons, coloring, holding the rats, she likes being afraid, writing, playing, doing stuff that's very nice, me doing her stuff.  She likes playing with me and everyone and on the computer.  She likes playing everywhere.  She likes rides.  She likes doing anything.  She likes me doing her chores for her so she doesn't have to do them.  She needs me to help her work, and ride in the wheelchair.  I love Kyla because she's beautiful and not invisible.  She has to be big and strong because she's almost big. 

Tyler's Post about John

My brother John is a bozo and he is fun to play with because he is a big fighter and he always wins.  He climbs trees and pranks me all day and he made me buy a ninja pig on wizard 101 and so I got mad with him.  I love him and he's a great brother and he gave us $50.  to buy rats.  He's in boy scouts.  His favorite color is orange.  He is 13 years old.  His favorite thing to do is play with me because I'm the only boy in this family.  His favorite food is strawberries and onion rings.  I love him because he is sometimes he's nice and sometimes he's not but I love him because he's the best brother I could ever wish for!

Kali's essay about Tyler

Tyler is now a funny, active, sweet six year old. He is now almost as tall as me and I'm 5 foot and a half inch it's crazy. Tyler is funny because he likes to throw my flag around and try to do tosses with it and when he does he says I'm as good as you Kali. Its so cute that he tries to do all the colorguard things that I do. Tyler is an active six year old because he does swimming lessons, baseball, wrestling, basketball, and he rides his bike and his does that all with still enough energy to wrestle at home with John or Dad. Tyler is really good at baseball but he alwys says his favorite sport is basketball. Lastly Tyler is sweet because he loves to make Mom all these cards and letters and pictures and sometimes he colors pictures for me it's so nice. He also loves to watch tv with me on tuesday nights, we like to watch dance moms together, but he likes to watch the same shows as me and in conclusion tyler is a good little brother even if he is a little crazy at times:)

John's essay to Katie

Katie is a very intelligent child, loving sister, and an awesome helper. One reason, Katherine is so intelligent is that she is always wanting to do workbooks. Also, she loves to do homework and she will stay up for as long as she can doing homework and you have to make her stop or else she won't. She will also get mad at you and sometimes even cry if she can't do homework but you most of the time give in because who doesn't want their sister to learn new things. An example, of how Katie is such a loving sister is that she is always wanting to help you and if she isn't it's only about 15% of the time. Another way, Katie is such a loving sister is she likes to play with her siblings and is always nice during the games she plays. Lastly, Katie is a great sister because she is so friendly and loving to her siblings and parents. One reason, Katie is an awesome helper is she likes do help her siblings with doing the dishes and laundry. Also, Katie is a great helper because she helps her mom brush the dogs and clean the house when her siblings are gone at school. Lastly, Katie is an awesome helper when she listens to her siblings and parents. Finally, you can see that Katie is a very intelligent, loving sister, and an awesome helper.

John

I had a track meet today and just got home like thirty minutes ago and I'm so worn-out. The events I did is the 800 meter(1/2 mile) and the 400 meter(1/4 mile). In the 800 my time was two minutes and fifty eight seconds. Also my time for the 400 was one minute and thirteen seconds. I also came in second place in my heat for the 400. And I got my best times for them both.

Katie 1st overnight

So tonight, Katie is spending the night with Aunt Dawnya, Trey, and Austin.  And just for good measure her older sisters Kalie and Tiffany are staying there also.  Tyler and I miss her, but I've only called once...maybe twice and plan to only call one more time before bed.  Our house is quiet and although we have watched a movie, ate popcorn, etc...it just doesn't feel the same...this mom misses her baby!
